Kate Sartoris uses art to capture the fleeting beauty and emotions of everyday life, from the pure exuberance and joy of movement, to awe over the beauty of the natural world. Her drawings, collages, and paintings communicate stories about the world around us and the common experiences we all share.
Kate has a background in early childhood special education and children’s librarianship. She lives in Maine with her husband and two cats and enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking. She finds inspiration in the beautiful natural spaces and people of Maine.
